I admire the variety of styles and directions of digital graphic. There are a lot of artists and illustrators in the world working in each of these styles, among them there are also such who choose a certain direction, develop it and make it delightful. Dan Wheaton is one of such artists.

Dan Wheaton is matte painter and concept artist. He was senior matte painter for such films as Babel, “Stranger Than Fiction” and “The Number 23”. He worked on the award winning cinematics for “Prince of Persia 3”. Clients he has worked with either freelance or with firms include PepsiCo, Ubisoft, Games Workshop, Warner, Velvet Elvis, Canadian Opera Company, HP, IBM, Academy of Country Music, etc. His works are magnificent, they captivate with both ideas and execution. His technics is surprising and when looking at some of his works, you ask yourself – how did he do it? But it’s not the technics that amazes me most of all. Most of all I like the atmosphere in which you get dipped while looking at his pictures. It is not surprising, Dan Wheaton basically cooperates with the companies which are engaged in development of games and films. Enough words – you must see this.
